Acacia Africa has launched new East and Southern African tours for 2015.
The new East Africa accommodated overland collection will cover Kenya and Tanzania. The 11-day ‘Best of East Africa’ includes a game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park rhino sanctuary, and a visit to Lake Elementaita. Both locations are seasonal feeding grounds for flocks of flamingos. The tour also includes wildlife viewing in the Masai Mara, Ngoronogoro Crater and Serengeti. Year-round departures begin from June 7, 2015, starting and ending in Nairobi.
Acacia Africa's new East African itineraries also include a five-day Kenya Lakes and Mara expedition and the six-day Tanzania game parks tour.
The 14-day ‘Cape to Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park’ accommodated small group safari takes travellers through South Africa's Western and Northern Cape to Lambert's Bay, a whale-watching hotspot from July through October, Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, where wildlife such as cheetah, springbok, gemsbok, ostrich and the black-maned Kalahari lion is regularly sighted. Travellers go white-water rafting on the Orange River, hike a waterfall in Augrabies National Park and go on a 4x4 shipwreck tour along the Diamond Coast. Spring departures are a highlight as Namaqualand's wildflowers will be in bloom. Year-round departures will begin from January 1, starting in Cape Town and ending in Upington.
There is also a new five-day Transfrontier Kgalagadi accommodated safari and a nine-day Diamond Coast safari on offer.
