On February 28, from 09h00 to 13h00, the Africa Travel and Safari Show will bring together African tourism products and services, and targeted travel buyers and bookers into Africa, in a powerful online exhibition that will drive networking and partnerships between supplier and buyer.
A select group of exhibitors will present some of the top tourism products and services across the African continent, to buyers and other participants locally and internationally.
Visitors, in turn, will be able to network and connect directly with Africa tourism stakeholders, with real-time interaction through the online chat function, and access to instantly downloadable content.
Expert speakers will offer presentations covering pivotal topics to tourism in Africa – a schedule of speakers will be released towards the end of January.
“With the rapid growth in business being conducted in the online space, with the incomparable direct networking opportunities – reaching a global audience – and lower costs, online exhibitions are the place to be to connect the right business contacts with the right products,” says Natalie Cumberlege, Business Development Manager of Now Media’s Online Expos. “Online marketing is forging ahead in the digital and social media spaces, and the online platform is opening unprecedented channels for both tourism product and service suppliers, as well as buyers.”
Benefit to exhibitors
Exhibitors will be able to reach an audience that would not traditionally participate due to either geographic or cost restraint.
Due to the digital nature of the expo, there are no logistical costs or stand-building and setup costs, which greatly reduces the marketing budget that would traditionally go towards a physical exhibition. Exhibitors will also receive a post-show Detailed Activity Report, which is a strong tool for monitoring ROI, giving insights into everything from number of visitors to the stand, to downloads and chat history.
Benefit to visitors
Visitors will enjoy easy access to travel suppliers from the comfort of their desk. There is no time out of the office as the exhibition is accessed from a computer or mobile device; visitors can chat directly to the exhibitors; content can be downloaded immediately and for free; and the exhibition also gives visitors excellent insights into the latest travel trends via the conference programme. Registration is also free.
Current exhibitors at the Africa Travel and Safari Show include Legacy Hotels and Resorts, Dream Hotels and Resorts, Seychelles Islands, Forever Hotels and Resorts, ATKV, and Mopane Bush Lodge, amongst others.
Space is limited, so ensure that you book your stand as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Contact Natalie on nataliec@nowmedia.co.za or 011 214 7380.
