Airlink has announced a number of extra flights that will be added during 2017.

The carrier will introduce a third daily flight from Cape Town to Windhoek from February 6. Flight SA8126 will depart from Cape Town at 10h00 and arrive at Hosea Kutako International in Windhoek at 12h05. Flight SA8127 will depart Windhoek at 15h00 and arrive in Cape Town at 17h05.

The airline has also upped its frequencies between Nelspruit and Livingstone to a daily service. The additional flights will operate on Thursdays and Sundays from March 26. Flight SA8870 will depart Nelspruit at 11h35 and arrive in Livingstone at 13h10. Flight SA8871 will depart Livingstone at 13h45 and arrive in Nelspruit at 15h25.

Airlink will also offer a daily flight between Johannesburg and Vilanculos from April 13. The additional flights will operate on Thursdays and Sundays. Flight SA8260 will depart Johannesburg at 11h30 and arrive in Vilanculos at 13h10. Flight SA8261 will depart Vilanculos at 13h45 and arrive in Johannesburg at 15h10.

From June 6, the Cape Town-Maun service will increase to daily. The additional flights will operate on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Flight SA8601 will depart Cape Town at 10h35 and arrive in Maun at 13h05. Flight SA8602 will depart Maun at 13h35 and arrive in Cape Town at 16h10.

Frequencies from Nelspruit to Vilanculos will increase, up from the current flights, which operate on Thursdays and Sundays. From March 26, there will be an additional flight on Tuesdays and Fridays. On July 4, Mondays and Saturdays will be added to the schedule, and from August 7, there will be a flight on Wednesdays.

Flight SA8258 will depart Nelspruit at 11h45 and arrive in Vilanculos at 12h45. Flight SA8263 will depart Vilanculos at 13h25 and arrive in Johannesburg at 15h10. The airline does not operate a flight from Vilanculos to Nelspruit.
