Houston Travel Marketing’s post ITB Spotlight on Africa European roadshow will run from March 12 – 15.

The roadshow kicks off in Amsterdam on Monday, March 12. Owner of Houston Travel Marketing, Derek Houston, says the show has been organised in conjunction with Anneli Bronkhorst of wwtourism. “The Netherlands is a very important market for Africa and probably ranks as one of the top three European source markets for most African countries,” says Houston. “The annual Spotlight workshop has now become a must-attend function for Dutch tour operators who sell Africa and in March 2011 there were 70 attendees.”

Next the roadshow moves to Central Europe – Prague in the Czech Republic on March 14 and Warsaw, Poland on March 15. Houston Travel Marketing Services have teamed up with Paddington Tucker of Travel e-SENSE based in Prague to jointly run this workshop. “Our first ever Spotlight workshop in Central Europe in September 2010 was an outstanding success with 170 attendees and 16 exhibitors from Seychelles and Africa,” says Houston.
