City Lodge Hotel Group donated funds to three major charities for the first time since April 2019 during a celebratory breakfast at City Lodge Hotel Fourways on September 14.

R194 500 (€11 130) was donated to the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA); R135 000 (€7 720) to the Hospice Palliative Care Association of South Africa; and R95 000 (€5 430) to Food and Trees for Africa – totalling R424 500 (€24 270).

Guests booking on the Group’s website (www.clhg.com) to stay at any of its 59 hotels have the option of ticking a donation box for either Hospice or Food and Trees for Africa, and the Group makes a donation on their behalf. 

The Cuppa for CANSA drive raised funds collected from guests who have bought a cup of coffee at any of its 23 Road Lodges.
