Ethiopian Airlines will be resuming flights to Moscow, Russia in November, after having previously served the route until May 1991. The flight will include a stop-over in Istanbul, Turkey.
Ethiopian Airlines Regional Manager for South Africa, Abel Alemu told Tourism Update that the airline will start operating its Addis Ababa – Istanbul – Moscow Sheremetyevo route on November 15.
The route will be serviced by a Boeing 787-8 aircraft four times a week, every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The flight schedule is as follows:
- ET760: Addis Ababa (ADD) 00h30 –Istanbul (IST) 04h40. Depart 05h40 –Moscow (SVO) 09h20.
- ET761: Moscow (SVO) 21h00 – Istanbul (IST) 22h45. Depart 23h45 – Addis Ababa (ADD) 06h05 +1.
