Ethiopian Airlines has extended its service to Manchester this month with an additional Monday flight.
This increases the airline’s Manchester schedule (via Geneva) to five flights weekly using an Airbus A350.
This fifth-weekly flight from T2 Manchester to Addis Ababa comes in addition to the current daily non-stop A350 Airbus flights from T2 London Heathrow to Addis Ababa, carrying over 10 000 passengers monthly, with connections to over 60 African destinations across East, South, Central and West Africa.
Henock Woubishet, Ethiopian Airlines Area Manager UK & Ireland, said: “This is good news for our Manchester departures, as we have seen growth from northern UK to sub-Saharan Africa. The new additional Monday flight will provide more weekly capacity during our 50th Anniversary year of flying to the UK for our passengers.”
Timothy Bettney, Ethiopian Airlines Traffic & Sales Manager in Manchester commented: “The Manchester flights have become very popular for customers in the region. The full-service non-stop flights to Geneva are seeing demand from both the corporate and leisure markets.”
