Africa Tourism Partners has announced the top-five finalists of the Africa Tourism Leadership Awards (ATLA 2023). Over 200 nominations for the nine categories were received from across the African continent for the awards from June 23 to August 15.
That was followed by a rigorous adjudication process by an international panel of judges to select the top five finalists in the nine categories.

The announcement of the winner, first, and second runner, up is scheduled for October 6 at an Awards Gala Dinner in Gaborone, Botswana.
The programme preceding the Awards Gala Dinner will include, among others, a high-level trading day and training, B2B sessions, desktop exhibition, destination showcase, tourism entrepreneurship masterclasses, networking cocktails, an AfCFTA Forum on Tourism, Creative Arts and Cultural Industries, and the Africa Tourism Leadership Forum sessions. These will take place from October 3 to 6.
Over 500 physical participants from across the world, including thought leaders, media, travel trade, industry practitioners, hoteliers, policy-makers, and renowned experts are expected to attend the awards in Gaborone.
