Preferred Travel Group, a family-owned company that manages and operates global travel and hospitality brands, has announced one promotion and two new appointments within its expanding African team.
Celeste Vogel has been promoted to Account Director, Kimon de Zeeuw has been appointed as Manager: Hotel Revenue Optimisation and Francois Joubert has joined the Global Sales team as Senior Manager: Sales for Africa and Saudi Arabia.

“Their extensive expertise will help us further enhance our portfolio in the region across Preferred Hotels & Resorts and Beyond Green, support inbound and outbound travel opportunities and expand partnerships with tourism boards and governments to help boost tourism arrivals and develop stronger tourism products for these destinations.”
Vogel is based in Cape Town and has oversight of the member hotel portfolio, fostering engagement and collaboration. She joined the company in 2019 as Hotel Revenue Optimisation Manager, bringing a decade of hospitality experience and expertise in revenue management and distribution.
De Zeeuw, also based in Cape Town, leverages her 15 years of industry experience to optimise hotel revenue through strategic use of the central reservation system and distribution channels.
Joubert, based in Johannesburg, with over two decades of experience in sales, marketing and revenue management, will lead the global sales strategy and member hotel relationships in Africa.
