Hyatt Hotels Corporation will open the Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa in Ethiopia in October.
Accommodation at the 188-room hotel will include 12 Regency Suites, two Regency Executive Suites, a Presidential Suite and a Royal Presidential Suite with four bedrooms.
“Every room is equipped with personal ID-based security door lock, satellite TV, in-room safe and individually adjustable air-conditioning and heating. Each room has a generous workspace with ergonomic chair, charging station, and bathrooms featuring a walk-in rain shower with separate bathtub and regionally inspired bathroom amenities,” says Simone Loretan, Regional Vice President of Global Communications – Europe, Africa, Middle East and South West Asia.
Regency Club rooms and suites include access to the Regency Club Lounge on the ground floor, which serves complimentary continental breakfast, evening cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.
The hotel will feature five different restaurants offering a range of local cuisines. Other facilities include a gym, outdoor heated lap pool and a spa.
For meetings and events there is the Hyatt Regency Ballroom, and two meeting rooms with adjoining pre-function area leading to an open-air terrace. The 350sqm terrace overlooking Meskel Square is available for corporate dining events.
The Hyatt Regency is just 15 minutes from Bole International Airport and centrally located on Meskel Square.
