South Africa will host number of major international sports events in 2023, which are expected to boost to the tourism sector.

According to Future Market Insights, the sports tourism market in South Africa was valued at US$3.7 billion in 2022, and is projected to increase at a robust rate of 9% per year through 2032.

The Department of Tourism has released the following schedule of events set to take place across the country this year.
