MSC Cruises will have two ships deployed in South Africa for the 2020/2021 cruise season, a first for the cruise line.
MSC Cruises is a family company that pays special attention to the needs of children and their parents. Along with activities that the whole family can enjoy together, there are also a number of kids’ clubs on board all ships, with dedicated activities and facilities for specific ages.
Baby Club (0-2)
A dedicated area and a range of facilities for babies and toddlers to enjoy. The clubs include two special services. With MSC Baby Time babies can play with their parents, and with MSC Baby Care, parents can leave their babies with the Youth Staff. MSC Baby Care will be available on MSC Lirica.
Mini Club (3-6)
Three- to six-year-olds can enjoy the Mini Club with activities specially organised for their age group. On several MSC Cruises’ ships, including the MSC Lirica, kids can play with a selection of LEGO bricks and equipment in the Lego Clubs.
Young Club (12-14)
Youngsters have a place of their own with supervised facilities where they can meet up and do their own thing away from parents. From themed games to sports and competitions, they will have a massive choice of activities to have fun and make new friends.
Teen Club (15-17)
Teenagers can look forward to having the time of their lives on board, from sports and competitions, dance contests and social network games to Wii, Xbox and PS3 tournaments. And in the evening, they can enjoy the teen disco, karaoke, White Party, Flashmob and many other themed events.
While the children are kept busy at one of the Clubs, parents are able to relax and enjoy the wide variety of on-board entertainment, knowing that their children are safe and enjoying themselves on board.
