Africa Albida Tourism is working on strategies to develop its existing products and brands.
The group offers luxurious properties in Victoria Falls.
There are plans to build a spa on the group’s Victoria Falls Safari Lodge Estate in Zimbabwe in 2020, and also to upgrade the rooms in the next 16 to 24 months, says Africa Albida Tourism CE, Ross Kennedy.
In addition, Albida has completed major upgrades of the kitchens in Victoria Falls Safari Lodge and The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show.
“We also continually seek to reduce and minimise our impact on our environment, as well as invest in conservation, community and the future,” Kennedy notes, highlighting the establishment of Victoria Falls Recycling, and replacing plastic water bottles with re-useable glass ones across Albida’s properties as examples.
“We are also researching world and African trends in the tourism sector, so that we make informed investment decisions for the future. We certainly aim to maintain and grow our reputation as one of Victoria Falls’ leading tourism and hospitality organisations, while contributing to the industry and sector in Zimbabwe and the region.
Africa Albida Tourism’s flagship property, Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, has been voted the Best Resort Hotel for the twenty-third year in a row by the Association of Zimbabwe Travel Agents.
The lodge celebrates its twenty-fifth anniversary on December 14.
