Bush & Beyond, a Nairobi-based central reservations office for a collection of independent and owner-run safari properties in Kenya, has introduced a new dhow adventure.
NaiSabah is a 22.8m traditional Omani liveaboard dhow, refurbished and tailored for oceanic exploration.
The vessel offers three air-conditioned cabins, accommodating up to eight people. It also offers the experience of sleeping under the stars on the open deck.
“Join Captain Bakari and crew for a sailing adventure around the Lamu Archipelago exploring via beach walks, snorkelling, dolphin viewing, fishing, sundowners, and more,” a Bush & Beyond spokesperson said.
The expedition-style liveaboard offers a platform for group adventures, family safaris, diving expeditions, fishing excursions, conservation journeys and scientific exploration.
“NaiSabah sails with the ethos of giving back, preserving and restoring biodiversity, and ensuring that this remarkable region's community voices and livelihoods are amplified.
“We take every measure to ensure that all adventures leave no footprint, but instead positively impact the regions that we visit. A built-in conservation fee contributes to the preservation of the marine ecosystems we visit and supports the communities that rely on the ocean for their livelihoods,” highlighted the spokesperson.
