New private jet service to Sabi Sands
Federal Airlines will launch a daily private jet service between Johannesburg and the Sabi Sands. The airline will use a VIP configuration nine-seater private jet to operate daily. The service will reduce travel time for high-end luxury safari travellers as the flight time is only 35 minutes. The airline plans to launch the exciting new service on August 1.

Airlink ups frequencies
Airlink will increase frequencies on a number of its services. From July 4, an additional flight between Vilanculos and Johannesburg will be added on Mondays and Saturdays. The flight departs Vilanculos at 13h25 and arrives in Johannesburg at 15h10. From August 7, another flight will be added between Vilanculos and Johannesburg on Wednesdays. The flight will depart Vilanculos at 13h25 and arrive in Johannesburg at 15h10.
From July 4, flights between Johannesburg and Nelspruit will be added on Mondays and Saturdays. The flight departs Johannesburg at 09h30 and arrives in Nelspruit at 10h20.
From August 7, a flight between Johannesburg and Nelspruit will be added on Wednesdays. The flight departs Johannesburg at 09h30 and arrives in Nelspruit at 10h20.
From 6 June, flights between Cape Town and Maun will be added on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The flight departs Cape Town at 10h35 and arrives in Maun at 13h00. The return flight departs Maun at 13h35 and arrives in Cape Town at 16h00.

Fedair launches new transit service
Federal Airlines will be strategically basing a Cessna Grand Caravan (12 seater) at the Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport to provide an air hopping services to northern lodges in the Pafuri area. Connectivity has always been a challenge for this region and Federal Airlines believes that by offering a daily service into and out of Hoedspruit from Pafuri will allow connections to scheduled flights to Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Ashtons launches new route and fleet expansion
Ashtons announces new Kruger Shuttle route and a fleet expansion set to take place in during May-June and again during September-October. New PA systems are being added to all existing and new 14-seater Quantums, and new in-transit WiFi system is entering its final phase of testing. The new Kruger Shuttle: Hazyview, will from November 1, will now offer affordable add-on services between Perry’s Bridge Hazyview and all lodges located within a 15-20 minute radius.

Tuli and Limpopo Valley Airfield to launch new flights
Tuli and Limpopo Valley Airfield will launch new flights starting in June. The twice weekly flights will be between Tuli and Maun, and between Tuli and the Kruger National Park. In 2018, flights between Tuli and Vilanculos, Kasane and Zimbabwe will come on stream.
