Royal Hills Lodge & Spa has opened in Thohoyandou, Limpopo – adding to the accommodation offerings in the area.
The Limpopo Tourism Agency (LTA) joined with lodge owners, Dr Azwihangwisi and Humbulanu Bvumbi to officially launch the four-star lodge. "The opening of this establishment in this area, known as the land of myths and legends, not only will add to the number of tourism products we have in the country, and Limpopo, but will also create a number of job opportunities," said LTA board member, Moss Tseli.
"We are committed to create jobs here. We have ten people employed in the facility, eight of whom are from Vhembe,” said Azwihangwisi, adding that opening while still under lockdown level one confirmed their hopes for the tourism industry.
The lodge offers 10 air-conditioned rooms with en-suite bathrooms and also features a spa offering massages and nail treatments.
