Vincent Zwelibanzi Mntambo, Graham Ian Wood, Dr Ayanda Ntsaluba and Aloysius Thebeetsile Ikalafeng have been reappointed as non-executive members of the Board of South African Tourism. Mntambo will serve as chair. Newly appointed non-executive members include:

Minister of Tourism, Derek Hanekom, has welcomed the new appointees and expressed his appreciation to the outgoing Board for its services and achievements over the last term.
“I am very pleased with the selection of the new Board, given their combined level of strategic leadership, governance, financial, business and tourism experience,” Minister Hanekom said. “Tourism is a force for change, and must take the lead in the sustainable and inclusive development of the country. We rely upon SA Tourism to position our beautiful South Africa as a prime tourist destination.”
Minister Hanekom said he was confident that the new Board was equal to the task ahead, and wished them well in their term.
David Frost, SATSA CEO, congratulated. Mntambo on his re-appointment as Chair of SA Tourism and also congratulated the new board of directors on their selection. “In particular SATSA is proud to have nominated industry pioneer and stalwart Colin Bell and we are chuffed that the Minister has appointed him to the Board,” said Frost. “SATSA looks forward to a renewed approach from SA Tourism under the aegis of the new Board and in the advent of the recently concluded Ministerial Review of the organisation, into which SATSA members articulated a strong collective voice.”
