Forbes Travel Guide has appointed Jeff Rosenberg as its Vice President, Partner Services for Africa, for its newly opened office in Cape Town.
Rosenberg is a hospitality industry veteran with more than 40 years of executive leadership experience. Prior to joining Forbes Travel Guide, he acted as General Manager for numerous prestigious properties across southern Africa, including the Lost City at Sun City, the Sabi Sun Resort in Hazyview and, most recently, the Southern Sun Waterfront in Cape Town.
Rosenberg is currently the Chair of Fedhasa.
The Quatermain Faircity Hotel in Sandton appoints a new General Manager
The Quatermain Faircity Hotel has appointed Jerod Flaum as its new General Manager. Flaum was previously Regional Operations Manager in KwaZulu Natal for the First Group.
He is known for his focus on service excellence and believes in the importance of the customer/guest service journey. “My goal is to find and mentor true hoteliers among students and employees, to bring out the best in people and develop them to their full potential,” says Flaum.

Taj Cape Town appoints a new Revenue Director
Candice van Heerden has been appointed Director of Revenue for Taj Cape Town, effective from April 1.
Van Heerden has a wealth of experience in global hotel brands, including the Radisson Hotel Group and IHG, as well as international experience after having worked in London for several years.
