Neil Steedman has been appointed General Manager of Wilderness Safaris’ Mombo Camp in Botswana’s Okavango Delta. 
Steedman grew up in Kenya, but later moved to South Africa, starting his career at lodges within the Kruger National Park. From there he moved to Madikwe Game Reserve, managing Rhulani Safari Lodge and Jaci’s Safari Lodge, before joining Relais & Chateaux Morukuru lodges. 
After eight years at Madikwe, he moved to Wilderness Safaris Botswana as the GM for Xigera Camp. 
Tourvest East Africa has contracted Luxury Representation Collection of the United Kingdom as representatives for Vintage Africa, Sense of Africa Uganda and the Lemala Camps and Lodges to cover the UK and Ireland. 
South African born Luxury Representation Collection owner Tesna Simonsen George has been working in the industry for over 16 years gaining experience from the various segments of the travel market before finding her true passion in the field of representation.
Ynot Concepts of Australia will provide representation services to the same Tourvest East Africa brands across Australia and New Zealand.

Rob Gurr, owner of Ynot Concepts comes from a sales and marketing background. Until recently he headed the South African Tourism trade marketing team in Australia.  He implemented national marketing campaigns, business plans, developed and created relationships with key stakeholders and has an excellent understanding of the Australian and New Zealand markets. 
Townhouse Hotel in Cape Town, has announced a number of changes to its staff. Raymond Maarman has recently been appointed as Sous Chef at Trees Restaurant, moving from his previous position as Junior Sous Chef. 
Futher movements include, Sive Gigi being appointed Commis Chef in the Townhouse Hotel kitchen and Yaseen Walters, who has been at the Townhouse Hotel for two years, has been promoted to Senior Sous Chef. 

Wiseman Ndlovu has moved through the ranks as Chef de Partie, to his current position as Junior Sous Chef. Samantha Barthus has moved out of the kitchen and will take up the position of Switchboard Operator. Themba Skhosana has taken up the position of Night Auditor. 

Zanele Zwane has been promoted to the position of Executive Housekeeper after having only joined the Townhouse team in June this year. Tracy Stewart is the hotel’s new Events Manager.
Clico Boutique Hotel has a new Head Chef, Izanne Nawn. Nawn joined the hotel in September this year and has experience in lecturing chefs at the Capital Hotel School and six years in game lodge hospitality, of which four years were spent in the Madikwe Game Reserve at Madikwe Safari Lodge and Madikwe Hills Safari Lodge.
Fairlawns Boutique Hotel & Spa in Sandton has welcomed Gerhard Venter as Executive Chef. Venter has experience as the Executive Chef at the Royal Marang Hotel, Head Chef at Oranje Guest Farm, Singita, Terroir and several top fine-dining attractions in New Zealand.
