Proflight Zambia continued to conduct some operations (repatriation flights only) on the LUN-JNB route, during lockdown.
Now that the borders have reopened, the privately-owned airline has increased its Johannesburg service, with more flights than before lockdown. It now flies daily, except for Saturdays.
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, the flight departs Lusaka at 08h00, arriving Johannesburg OR Tambo at 10h00. The return flight departs Johannesburg at 12h00, arriving in Lusaka at 14h00.
On Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, the flight leaves Lusaka at 12h00 and arrives in Johannesburg at 14h00. The return flight leaves Johannesburg at 15h00, arriving in Lusaka at 17h00.
