Simbavati River Lodge, in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger National Park, has upgraded its main guest areas and tents.
The tents have new bathrooms featuring an indoor shower, double basins and double outdoor showers. The bedroom floor area has been increased in size, allowing the beds to look out to the bush through glass doors, and large sun loungers have been added to the decks.
The main guest areas have received a new look, with large built-in seating and big cushions. The indoor dining area has been enlarged, allowing for more privacy for families, and a fireplace has been fitted.

All water used at Simbavati River Lodge and Simbavati Hilltop Lodge is now recycled and re-used, through a filtering process. This has reduced water consumption by up to 30%.
A second phase of upgrades will take place during lodge closure in June in time for the winter holidays.
