Amalinda Collection’s My Beautiful Home Cycle Tour was launched in July this year. The tour is an activity offered to Amalinda guests taking them through the rural villages of the Matopos, in Zimbabwe.

The cycle tour has two options, an 11 kilometre tour and a 24 kilometre tour where visitors can interact with locals and visit the local homes. The cycle tour is a half day activity, starting in the morning. Guests cycle on mountain bikes along bush paths through the Matobo rural homes, painted huts and kraals that depict rural life in Zimbabwe.

The tour begins in one of the rural villages and ends in a walk up to Silozwan Cave, where guests view paintings by bushmen. The tour is followed by a traditional lunch at one of the village homes.
