Zimbabwe will host the UNWTO Communication, Media and Tourism Training in Africa Workshop in November.
Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) Chief Executive Winnie Muchanyuka signed a hosting agreement with UNWTO Secretary General Zurab Pololikashvili for the workshop, which will take place in Victoria Falls from November 13-15.
“The training workshop will see the convergence of all the members and affiliates to the UNWTO Regional Commission for Africa in Victoria Falls,” the ZTA said in a press release.
The hosting agreement was signed at the 66th meeting of the UNWTO Regional Commission for Africa in Mauritius at the end of July, where members adopted the agenda for Africa’s tourism industry.
