Wild Horizons has appointed new Chief Financial Officer, Wirimai Chimbongore. 
Chimbongore has experience in the financial sector having most recently headed up the finance department of RED Graniti Group in the mining and processing sector in Harare, where he was the Financial Director. 
Growing up in Zimbabwe in Bindura, Chimbongore went to high school at St Albert’s in Centenary before completing his studies in accounting at the Rand Afrikaans University (RAU), now University of Johannesburg. He then joined Deloitte Woodmead Sandton offices and on completion of his articles, qualified as a Chartered Accountant registered with SAICA.
After working as a Finance Manager at Highveld Evraz Group in South Africa, Chimbongore decided to pursue an Executive Masters Degree in Administration at The African University.
