The Kenyan government will from January next year introduce four-day transit visas to foreign passengers travelling through the country on Kenya Airways.

The government’s aim of extending the transit visa to four days is to encourage foreign travellers transiting through Nairobi to explore the capital city and possibly take short extensions to some of the national parks.

The four day transit visa will only apply to passengers on Kenya Airways flights.
