African Sun will open two new campsites in Zimbabwe next month, one at Great Zimbabwe Hotel (Masvingo) and the other at Caribbea Bay Resort (Kariba), to cater for backpackers.
African Sun MD, Edwin Shangwa, says the campsite at Great Zimbabwe Hotel will have 40 tents, each with a capacity of two people. Caribbea Bay Resort will have 35 tents also accommodating two people per tent.
“At each camp site, there will be 10 permanent camps with two sleeper tents and beds. The rest of the camps are left unfurnished to allow campers to bring their own tents. Facilities on site include braai areas, parking for over-land vehicles, a place to power electrical gadgets, and access to WiFi,” said Shangwa.
