TOURISM Update Online has received reports that international passengers flying from OR Tambo International Airport are experiencing delays at immigration due to the training and implementation of Defence Force recruits according to Cuban security measures.

Minister of Home Affairs, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, confirmed earlier this month that South African immigration services at OR Tambo International Airport would be benchmarked against Cuban security measures with immigration officers undergoing specialised training.

Airports Company South Africa (Acsa) could not be reached for comment.
