East Africa’s highest bungee jump has opened at the Adrift Riverbase Activity Centre in Uganda, a stone’s throw from Tourvest’s beautiful Lemala Wildwaters Lodge. The 44-metre-high tower offers a spectacular leap over the waters at the source of the River Nile, outside the country’s adventure capital, Jinja City.
The jump was constructed to the highest international standards, with ISO certifications for all the crew and maintenance procedures.
The facility also has a pedestrian suspension bridge stretching over the rapids of the river.
Tickets for the bungee jump cost US$115 per person.
