The South African National Department of Transport (DoT) has announced its readiness for the Soccer World Cup.
DoT has introduced an inter-provincial and regional transport system to facilitate the transport of general spectators to and from matches. The fleet will comprise 110 newly acquired 79-seater MAN Lion Explorer semi-luxury, inter-city coaches.
Furthermore, DoT has implemented a National Integrated Transport System that utilises the newly acquired AutoPax coach fleet (110 vehicles) and Midi Vehicles to suit spectators’ long-distance travel needs.
All fleet vehicles will carry comprehensive insurance and required Passenger Liability Insurance.
The inter-provincial and regional transport system will service the following inter-city transport arrival and departure points:

• Sandton and Johannesburg
• Westgate Station in Johannesburg CBD
• Pretoria CBD
• Polokwane
• Nelspruit
• Rustenburg
• Mangaung
• Cape Town
• Port Elizabeth
• Durban
• George
