King Shaka International Airport (DUR) released an update early yesterday evening (August 30), stating that its fuel hydrant system was now stable.

This is after the Durban airport had identified a fault on the optic fibre fuel system’s control and communications in the morning, which resulted in system shut down.

“We would like to thank passengers for their patience and understanding while we were resolving the matter,” the airport said in the update.
