A new lodge has been unveiled in Kenya’s Mount Kenya tourism circuit.

Activities include game drives at the nearby Aberdare National Park or Mount Kenya National Park, horse riding, hiking, and cycling.
The lodge has a conference facility with 24-hour back-up power and free WiFi.
Giraffe Ark Game Lodge Chairman, Peter Mahu said guests could enjoy panorama views of the snow-capped Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Ranges.
Mahu says 14 additional rooms are being constructed.
Kenyan Tourism Minister, Najib Balala, who officially opened the lodge last month, urged investors to build new hotels in tourism circuits which lack quality accommodation.
He assured that the Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with the Kenya Tourism Board would market Mount Kenya products locally and internationally to attract more visitors to the region.
Balala added that he would support counties that identify new products to open up untapped tourism potential areas.
He said: “We are keen on developing new products to avoid depending too much on beach and safari.”
