Nomad Tanzania, is set to open its Entamanu Ngorongoro camp in August this year.
According to information from Nomad Tanzania’s website, the new camp is perched on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater within the Ngorongoro Highlands in Tanzania.
The camp will have six rooms, two of which include a mezzanine level and are ideal for families and children. All the rooms will have views of the Crater.
The camp will be 100% removable and 100% concrete free. Structures are built of a steel framework, bolted together and standing on steel legs inserted 1m into the ground. Interiors are of sustainably sourced wood and a corrugated iron exterior allows for efficient water collection.
Nomad Tanzania’s camps include Lamai Serengeti, Kuro Tarangire, Chada Katavi, Sand Rivers Selous, Serengeti Safari Camp, Kiba Point Selous, Greystoke Mahale and Mkombe’s House Lamai.
