Local and regional independent airline, FlyNamibia, will launch a Windhoek-Luanda service in September, according to Sales and Marketing Manager, Adrian Muller.
The service between Namibia and Angola will operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays using an Embraer ERJ145. The flight times are yet to be confirmed.
FlyNamibia was also looking to further expand its operations, with a possible Windhoek to Durban via Gaborone route in the pipeline, said Muller.
The route developments follow the acquisition of 40% of the airline by Airlink in September 2022, an investment that had the goal of “driving the expansion of efficient scheduled airline services to, from and within Namibia”.
