RoomRaccoon – which offers a cloud-based hospitality management system (HMS) – is expanding its services to Zanzibar.
The company’s expansion in Zanzibar will be led by Niels Verspui, who helped launch RoomRaccoon in South Africa in November 2017.
“Among the key reasons for RoomRaccoon's success in the South African market is its ability to address the challenges that independent hoteliers face on a day-to-day basis,” said Verspui.
“I am excited to bring RoomRaccoon’s game-changing technology to independent hotels in Zanzibar so they, too, can unlock new ways to generate revenue, streamline property operations, reduce costs and enhance the guest experience.”
Verspui said hotels in Zanzibar could rely on RoomRaccoon’s easy-to-use cloud HMS to increase direct bookings with its fully integrated website booking engine.
He said the booking engine was the first of its kind to be integrated with Zanzibar’s leading online payment solution, DPO, helping hoteliers to automatically capture online payments with zero added commissions. The HMS system also comes fully integrated with a property management system and channel manager.
