Chantelle Mogg has been appointed Sales Manager at Extraordinary, a sales, marketing and public relations consultancy for a collection of luxury lodges and hotels in Southern Africa.  She was previously Regional Sales Manager for the Western Cape with the Three Cities Group. Her key responsibilities will be managing the Cape Town Extraordinary office and managing key accounts.

Deon Prinsloo, Head Concierge at the Palazzo at Montecasino, has been admitted to membership of Les Clefs d’Or (the Golden Keys), the International Association of Concierges. It has 4 000 members from 39 countries and is governed by an international president and committee.

Adriaan Maree has recently joined Roots Restaurant at the Forum Homini Hotel as Executive Chef. Highlights in his career include working in London at the two-star Michelin restaurant, Claude Bosi, and locally he spent two years at Rust and Vrede.

Glenburn Lodge in Muldersdrift has welcomed Executive Chef Vincent Lauwers to its team. During his 30 years in the hospitality industry Lauwers has earned a string of accolades, and in 2010 was responsible for the preparation of President Jacob Zuma’s meals as well as those for the Mexican football team during their three week stay in South Africa for the Soccer World Cup.
