The Elephant Pepper Camp in Masai Mara, Kenya, has undergone extensive refurbishments, giving the camp a new look.
All the bedroom tents have been replaced with larger, tan-coloured ones with increased space for the bathroom areas. Last year, the tents were newly furnished in the style of India, with lots of wood and brass. A new plumbing system has also been installed, providing running water throughout the camp.
A second honeymoon/family suite has been added. The two suites have a new layout that is more spacious with an en-suite bathroom in both. The suites can now fit two extra beds for children.
The main area has been expanded with the addition of a library and lounge tent that looks out to the open plains. The library can also be used for private dining.
With the renovations, the Elephant Pepper Camp has decided to move its summer opening date 10 days forward from June 15 to June 5, to accommodate the demand for bookings.
