Kenya Railways has revised the schedule of the Madaraka Express, operating between Mombasa and Nairobi, which will take effect on August 1. The revision aims to improve the performance, read a statement issued by Kenya Railways.
With the new schedule, the Inter-County train will depart Nairobi at 08h20 and arrive in Mombasa, the final destination at 14h18. The express train will depart Nairobi at 14h35, reaching Mombasa at 19h18.
The Inter-County train will leave Mombasa at 08h00 and arrive in Nairobi at 13h42, while the express train will depart Mombasa at 15h15 and reach Nairobi at 29h14.
The changes will not affect ticket prices, which were recently adjusted from Sh700 (€6) to Sh1000 (€8.50) in economy class, and for first class passengers Sh3000 (€25.4).
