Bidvest's new Sky Lounge has opened at OR Tambo International Airport in the domestic departures Terminal B.

The facility, which represents a new brand and concept from Bidvest’s Premier Lounge downstairs, offers guests an ‘urban hip’ feel, with unisex toilet facilities; free WiFi; and complimentary snacks and beverages including soft drinks, tea and coffee, wines and beers. Also, Sky Lounge is a non-smoking facility.

Bidvest plans to carry out the Sky Lounge concept at domestic airports across South Africa where there is an increase in demand for a second lounge, says MD of Bidvest Lounges, Gavin Bell.

The Premier Lounge will remain Bidvest’s premium brand, says Bell, as it continues to offer hard tack alcoholic beverages, a smoking facility and showers.

The new lounge at OR Tambo is open Mondays to Fridays from 05h00-21h00 and Saturdays and Sundays from 06h00-21h00.
