Main Line Passenger Services has suspended the Shosholoza Meyl long-distance passenger train services.

The Musina, Johannesburg-Port Elizabeth, Cape Town-East London and Komatipoort train services have been affected due to internal challenges.

Main Line Passenger Services says it is working around the clock to ensure that trains are reinstated as soon as possible.

Customers will be advised as soon as services resume.
