Singita has partnered with White Desert Antarctica and One&Only to offer guests a series of unique encounters with wildlife in a 12-day itinerary commencing on November 12.

Starting in the Kruger National Park, guests will stay four nights at either Singita Lebombo or Sweni Lodge. The remote location of these lodges, overlooking rivers filled with hippo and crocodile, allows guests to immerse themselves in the bush setting. Two daily game drives are offered, with sightings of elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, leopard and cheetah, along with birdlife, cats and other plains game.

The next stop is Cape Town, where guests will spend two nights at the One&Only, before moving to the Antarctic Circle. The luxurious retreat at the V&A Waterfront offers views of Table Mountain, giving guests easy access to the sights, world-class dining, and some of the region’s best wine-making locations.

The journey then takes guests from the tip of Africa to the southernmost continent on Earth – where they are able to experience the rare and unique wildlife spectacle of the Emperor Penguin colonies preparing for the hatching of thousands of chicks, which takes place early in the season.

Guests will spend five nights at Whichaway Camp, which can accommodate up to 12 guests in six spacious, state-of-the-art sleeping pods. There is also a communal lounge, dining room and kitchen at the camp. Other activities include ice-climbing, hiking through the blue-ice tunnels, and 4x4 trips to local science bases.

The package includes Federal Air flights between OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, and Singita Kruger National Park; airport meet and greet with transfer to the One&Only in Cape Town; and return flights from Cape Town International Airport to the Antarctic interior on a Gulfstream G550 jet. DC3 Basler flights will take guests to see the penguin colony.
