Trafalgar has launched a new series of Africa trips for 2020. There are 11 itineraries across nine countries, including South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Tanzania and Kenya.
On the seven-night Cape Town Explorer trip, guests will enjoy a ‘Be My Guest’ traditional South African barbecue, and visit the Amy Foundation, one of Trafalgar’s ‘Make a Difference’ projects, where they will visit a local township school and participate in the school’s after-care activities.
The 13-day Namibia Adventure visits Windhoek and Swakopmund as well as Sossusvlei, Damaraland, Etosha National Park, the Kalahari Desert and Fish River Canyon. Guests will ‘Connect with Locals’ and meet a local Damara family in Mondesa Township, meet members of the OvaHimba tribe and visit the Otjikandero Himba Orphan Village Project in Kaokoland which is a Trafalgar ‘Make a Difference’ project.
The nine-day Wonders of Kenya trip takes in Samburu National Reserve, Aberdare National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park and the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Participants can ‘Connect with Locals’ and savour fresh coffee with local farmers at a Kenyan coffee plantation and visit a Maasai village for an in-depth look into daily village life. Guests will also visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust as part of Trafalgar’s ‘Make a Difference’ experience.
