The Golden Peacock Villa Hotel in Mutare, in Zimbabwe’s Eastern Highlands, is adding a new wing with 54 rooms and a 400-seat conferencing facility. This will bring total guest rooms to 137and six conference facilities that can cater for 1 370 guests. The new rooms comprise 34 standard rooms, 18 deluxe rooms and two executive suites.
“Our standard rooms are air-conditioned, with two three-quarter beds, a hairdryer, tea facilities, mini bar fridge, turn-down service and free WiFi. Our deluxe and executive rooms are more spacious and offer world class amenities,” commented Willard Madhombiro, Golden Peacock Villa Hotel Food and Beverage Manager.
The hotel offers state-of-the-art conference facilities with overhead projectors, PA systems, podiums, free WiFi connectivity, as well as morning and high tea.
The Eastern Highlands includes the Nyanga National Park, as well as the Mutarazi Falls in the Mutarazi National Park, the highest waterfall in Zimbabwe and second highest in Africa. Activities include hiking, day walks, golf, cycling, trout fishing, bird watching and game drives.
