Born in Johannesburg, and educated at Pretoria Boys’ High School, Tony Rubin has decades of tourism experience and has worked in various Hotels in Southern Africa. He joined the attractions industry at Maropeng, in the Cradle of Humankind. During his time there, he was responsible for the operation of the businesses at Maropeng and the Sterkfontein Caves, which included a small boutique hotel, exhibition centre, conference facilities and the Sterkfontein Cave tours. He is now at SAB World of Beer.
