Auberge Daniella bed-and-breakfast has opened in the Franschhoek Valley in the Western Cape.
Within walking distance of Franschhoek and set against a backdrop of the Middagkrans Mountains, it offers country-style accommodation.
The Victorian homestead has been restored and now comprises three luxury suites – La Cotte, Huguenot Suite and Lavender Cottage – all overlooking the garden and swimming pool area and with access to the main road.
Suites have large dining rooms, lounge areas and kitchenettes. Bedrooms offer extra-length, queen or king-size beds with custom-designed mattresses, and heated towel rails, luxury soaps and toiletries in the en-suite bathrooms.
There is air-conditioning, heating, free WiFi throughout, DStv with two plasma TVs in each suite, personal safes, CCTV security camera, individual alarms for each suite, an alfresco dining area, laundry and cleaning service on request and off-street parking.
