Tanzanian airline, Precision Air, has resumed flights from Dar es Salaam to Hahaya in the Comoros.
The carrier suspended flights to the destination in 2014 when it was undergoing a strategy review that also involved route rationalisation.
According to Precision Air Commercial Director, Robert Owusu, the airline will operate three flights a week from Dar es Salaam to Hahaya on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
He said the airline planned to increase flights on the route to give travellers from Comoros easy access to East African destinations.
Regionally, the carrier also services Nairobi and in Tanzania it operates flights from Dar es Salaam to Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Mwanza, Mtwara, Bukoba, Musoma, Kigoma, Tabora, Zanzibar and Pemba.
