The Transnet National Ports Authority concluded an agreement earlier this year, where KwaZulu Cruise Terminal Pty Ltd will finance, construct, operate, maintain and transfer a new cruise terminal facility in the Port of Durban by October 2020. The project will see an investment of over R200 million (€12.5m).

Last week, Tourism Update asked readers what they thought the biggest impact would be of the new Grand Prix Circuit set to open in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Out of the 140 who participated, 14% voted ‘Enhanced Tourism’, 41% voted ‘Noise Pollution’, 14% voted ‘Destination Exposure’, whilst 31% said ‘Tourist Overcrowding’.
