Marchesi is the General Manager for Africa Travel Week / Thebe Reed Exhibitions. She grew up in Johannesburg and matriculated from Beaulieu College in 2005. Marchesi studied marketing through the IMM Graduate School of Marketing and worked at HDI Youth Marketers, where she assisted with campaigns aimed at the fast-changing dynamics of youth culture and their consumer behaviour. It is here that she became involved in events and realised where her talents for the busy business of exhibitions lay.
In 2012 Marchesi found her niche at Thebe Exhibitions and Projects as a Project Manager on various events and exhibitions. In 2013, she assisted with the launch of a new concept in travel events in this region: Africa Travel Week.
