Livingstone Island on the lip of the Victoria Falls, will close from May 1, as water levels in the Zambezi continue to rise.
During low-water seasons the island is easily accessible by boat. Island activities are seasonal and, due to the current sheer volume of water, Devil’s Pool and Island tours will be closed until the water levels recede.
Other experiences will still be available for tourists to enjoy, such as helicopter flights over the Falls, and a full-moon tour to see the elusive lunar rainbow.
