In honour of Mother’s Day this weekend, our pic of the week features a very special mother and baby.
The photograph was taken by Founder and Director of Ashia, Stephan Illenberger. Pictured are female cheetah, Aero, with one of her cubs, a little male called Storm.
Aero gave birth to a litter of cubs in one of the wilding sections at Kuzuko – part of the joint Breeding, Wilding and Release Programme run by Ashia Cheetah Conservation and Kuzuko Lodge.
