Simbavati Cederberg Ridge is the newest addition to the Simbavati Lodge Collection, even though it has always been managed and marketed by African Inspiration (now also rebranded as Simbavati Management Services).
Simbavati Cederberg Ridge embodies the essence of Africalm, which is what the Simbavati Lodge Collection is all about, with its focus on the restorative power and enticing mix of wildlife, wilderness and wellness.
A lot has been happening in the last few months at Simbavati Cederberg Ridge.
Two new suites
At the end of 2020, we introduced two new suites to cope with the demand for this ever-popular lodge, bringing us up to 11 rooms and suites; two classic rooms in the homestead and nine suites in the gardens.
Added a second heated pool
Our warm climate means that people often wish to relax by the pool and swim even into the cooler months. So we have built a second solar-powered heated pool that has two other benefits.
- It faces the sunset, so perfect spot for sunset drinks
- Sun-lovers will love the plentiful afternoon sunshine (with shade on offer as well).
Adding a new room category – Superior Pool Suites
The new Superior Pool Suites, available by November, offer that extra level of privacy. They enjoy an extended terrace that incorporates a sleep-out platform (queen bed) and a refreshing plunge pool for the summer months. But the pool is heated with a wood-burner, so it’s a hot tub in the cooler months.
The sleep-out bed can be used as a daybed or an after-dinner star-gazing bed. But for true romantics, there is nothing better than snuggling up with a loved one under the star-studded sky. (But with the convenience of being able to retreat indoors whenever you wish.)
Other new features
- Solar panels mean that we are now self-sufficient for our daytime power needs.
